It pays to have friends. Not many per se, but something
worth far more. Knowledge, wisdom, help and happiness. When I went to my
Johnny-on–the-spot, Dan Porter for a tip on what to play for you today, he
instantly came back with “Who Can It be Now?” Bulls-eye, Senor. Wee-played.
Hopefully, I can say the same. Salutations to Nigel, seen
here bringing the cuteness. Loved this tune when it was on the radio. Still do.
Operation 365 2 - Jefferson Jay - Words – 152 “Talking with
the Dog”
There are some many things to do in a day, far more than one
possibly can. Getting a record done is time consuming and fun, but making such
time often requires a plan. Planning’s not fun. You’re never fooling anyone. No
tricks, nor gags, or wrinkles, clever puns. But on the other side of time,
you’re blessed with silence on your side. To sit and choose whichever road’s
your own.
Fun is the barometer. Fun is the release. Fun is what we all
are after from tycoons down to fleas. There is no price. There are no
substitutes, as true for lice as it is for prostitutes. Fun is the season in
the seas. Fun is the reason that we breathe. Doing what’s right. Helping others
is what’s fun. All else is illusion that we’re meant to learn from.
In other news, Nigel is the unsung superstar of my life and
consequently, the Operation 365. In an effort to put up more front and center, here,
we spend some time trying to engage the endearing pooch in conversation.
Ultimately, we spoke in a language everyone could clearly understand. Hail
cute.
Operation 365 2 - Jefferson Jay - Originals – 152 “Chulajuana”
This
is a brilliant song. It may be misunderstood. Such is burden of making great
art. Love to Leanne and Dan without whom there could be no “Chulajuana” song.
